SOAP, which stands for Save Our Amazing Planet, is an organization that four girls, Leah Samuels, Ella Degrandpre, Wren Cilimburg, and Madeline Swanberg started nine years ago with the goal to save the planet. When we founded SOAP, we were ages 9-10. We started small, with lemonade and soap sales. All the money we make, after paying for supplies, is donated to organizations that make the world a better place. Some areas we like to focus on are: climate change, preserving wild places, and improving quality of life for people who struggle. A few summers ago, we decided to do something bigger, so we started a summer camp for kids ages 4-8. SOAP Camp is now held every summer. This summer was our sixth year of camp! At camp, we do art projects, games, and field trips. We also try to teach kids a little about what they can do to help the planet! SOAP also does other events such as fundraiser dinners. We donate all the money to places such as Conscious Connections, Climate Smart Missoula, and the Jeanette Rankin Peace center. We have raised roughly 10,000 dollars for various charitable organizations. EVENTS page for upcoming events.
